I think the hardest thing about being Christian is many people don’t accept it if you are honest about your own faith. I don’t mind if people want to discuss it. Sometimes I enjoy a good debate on the reasoning. It’s hard when they get angry when they can’t change my mind.
Many people don’t believe in God and I accept that. Sometimes I discover a deep resentment in a God they don’t believe exists. My belief antagonises that resentment.I’m sorry that awful things happen in our lives but I don’t blame God for them. Others do, it seems, so don’t believe.
Often it can go the other way where Christians try to force rules on people that don’t believe. I don’t agree with that behaviour either. Though I thought I would share it coming from a different direction as well.
