Exodus: Gods and Kings

Rewatching Exodus: Gods and Kings. I first watched it last year in hospital from my tablet computer. I had first read Exodus from the Bible. It’s about a King who wouldn’t let enslaved people be free for economic reasons.

Moses is inspired by God to plead they be set free. The King refuses so God unleashes many tragedies on the King to change his mind. Things become a right mess for the King and he eventually relents. But he changes his mind as the slaves leave. God divides the sea so they escape.

A good movie that does well with the biblical story.I like how they show at the end that Moses is wise to know freeing his people is the just the beginning and much more work lays ahead.”A leader can falter but stone can endure” as he puts together the commandments to guide them.
