Being Homeless in 2022

I spent 4.5 month in a psych hospital and a hotel for 1.5 months homeless.I doubt many people would of handled that. What struck me when I was homeless for 6 months was peoples emotional reasoning. It seemed to be acceptable when compared to being beaten or living on the streets.

To often it’s ok as long as its happening to someone else. As far as I’m concerned I was in prison for 4.5 months with my only other option risking death on the streets. My crime was being autistic and not rich. The forests aren’t big enough to live off. All land is taken.

Many will see the nurses and ambulance strikes as just happening to somebody else. These are the stories people keep telling themselves today. One day it will be you. If you get the opportunity please use it to promote kindness and friendship in the world.
